I just love the Fall season and everything it brings; like crisp sunny autumn days, colourful foliage and my favourite, the exciting new fashion trends!  Speaking of trends, the two key topics of this Newsletter are both trend-focused.  Enviro-friendly is one on everyone's mind and we share our 'green' news at Linea Intima, plus we bring you a rundown of the hottest runway trends and the perfect lingerie to pair with them.  Look for our new 'Underworld Factoid' of the month and learn all sorts of interesting 'lingerie lore' that I bet you didn't know!

LINEA INTIMA RECYCLING PROGRAM

"We don’t inherit the world from our parents...we just borrow it from our children".

Before 'being green' was the topic-du-jour, we were quietly commited to doing our part for the earth.  Here's a quick rundown of what our Recycling Program entails.  We...

• Request major bra suppliers to ship without bra boxes to save on both packaging and shipping materials.
• Reuse plastic shipping bags as waste containers in our stores.
• Recycle hangers whenever possible and those we can't are made available to our customers to take home to reuse.
• Donate gently used bras to women's shelters.
• Recycle discarded computer paper into notepads to use in our stores.
• Recycle printer cartridges.
• Use glasswear instead of styrofoam.
• Use minimal tissue when wrapping customer purchases (unless otherwise requested).

FALL 2007 FASHION & LINGERIE TRENDS

From your lips to our ears...we're so pleased to hear these recent stories from customers.

Lingerie Lesson... Theresa enjoyed her first Linea Intima bra-fitting 3 years ago (and was happy with the results).  When she called recently to say she was anxious to book another, we couldn’t help ask, if she was happy with her first, why did it take her so long to come back?  She explained that initially she thought, "great, now I know my bra size I can easily buy bras anywhere and there’s no need to buy expensive ones."  But, approximately $400 and a number of unwearable bras later (purchased at recommended lingerie stores) she walked in for her L.I. bra-fitting with the original bra we sold her in-hand!  She told us, not only is it still her favourite bra, but she now realizes that a properly fitted, high-quality bra is an investment that's worth every penny!

Keeping Score... Following the 'Sports Bra' feature in our August Newsletter, a happy customer reported that her tennis pro recently commented on the fact that her game had noticeably improved.  They both attribute it to her new sports bra!  The bra’s fit doesn’t restrict her movement, and it's comfort allows her to concentrate on playing her best game.
