WHAT’S INSTORE

Our new Commando Collection ... Better than nothing!

This cheeky new collection of smartly designed undergarments is your everyday prescription to prevent against fatale fashion faux pas.  Savvy, simple solutions for lingerie dilemmas, that make you feel like you’re ‘going commando’ but you’re not!

Full Slip, Half Slip, Girl Shorts and Thongs

Commando SlipologySuper slips slide on under clingy or sheer garments.  These next-to-nothing undercover agents have no waistband and are weighted at the bottom of the side seams so they don’t ride up.  Full-style with adjustable straps, $109 and Half-style, $60.  Available in true nude; sizes S/M or M/L.

Invisible Undies – These feel and look like nothing, but they’re better!  Cutting-edge underwear that is designed with invisible edges and a patented stretch fabric.
Girl Shorts (a hybrid boy-short/panty) are flatteringly designed to elongate your gams and grace your ‘cheeks’, $32.  Available in true nude.
Thongs prevent muffin tops and panty lines, $25.  Available in true nude and dark nude; both in sizes S/M (0-8) and M/L (8-14).

Matchsticks, Takeouts and Cleavage Cupcakes

Matchsticks – Double stick tricks for smart chicks.  A purse-ready book of 50 clear double stick tape strips, $14.  Remember only YOU can prevent fashion fires.  Quickly fix peek-a-boo bra straps, bursting blouse buttons, fallen hems or tube top drop.

Takeouts – The better boob job®.  Silicone bra inserts are natural feeling, 100% silicone gel in polyurethane shells.  Adds a full cup size, $58 per pair.

Cleavage Cupcakes – Just like homemade™.  100% silicone gel bra inserts slide into place under your breast, then watch cups rise!  Clear in colour and real in feel, $55 per pair.

LINGERIE INTERVENTION

No-show solutions to wear under summer fashions

Warning...summer is the peak time for lingerie crimes!  Here are some tips to help ward off wardrobe evil and have a smooth ride all summer long.

Don’t buy white – it shows under pale or sheer clothing.  The perfect fade away shade is your skin colour or slightly darker.

Avoid bumpy edges – choose flat or laser-cut legs and waistbands that won’t press or ‘cut’ your flesh.

Streamline - avoid high-waisted panties and wide bra straps.  Look for more streamline lingerie styles this time of year, ones that follow the line of your clothes.

Make microfiber your friend - cotton isn’t the ultimate summer fabric anymore.  Today’s synthetics are ‘breathable’ and have a lovely lightweight feel.

Wear the right size - styles that are too loose (especially panties) cause puckers and tight ones cause indentations in your skin.

IT'S TIME FOR A BRA-FITTING WHEN...

  • You can't wait to take your bra off!
  • The wires hurt = the band is too small or the bra sits too low on your ribcage.
  • The wires poke on the side = you need a larger band or cup size.
  • The middle front rides up away from the body = the cups are too small.
  • The shoulders hurt = you need more support or a style with wider or padded straps.
  • Straps fall off the shoulders = they need to be tighter, have lost elasticity or your shoulders may be sloped, requiring a bra with straps that are closer together at the back.
  • The band rides up = it's either too big or has lost elasticity.

NEWSWORTHY NOTES

I was so proud to take part in the story, ‘Body & Soul ...
